  • No impairment of sorting efficiency through the presence of coloured shards, dirt, moisture, or labels
  • high throughput rate
  • Accurate detection of elements, therefore no misinterpretations as with other technologies (e.g. fluorescence effect caused by another not lead-containing UV detection of lead glass)

  • A high level of detection is guaranteed even in the presence of material which is dirty or otherwise contaminated
  • Elemental analysis of the feed material
  • Colour independent recognition is possible (for example, for the sorting of aluminium, zinc, stainless steel)
  • Sorting of various kinds of alloys possible with the very same machine
  • Significant increase in value added of the sorted metal fractions
